Watson Take-Away - Canberra

This place is packed every Friday night for a reason. They do what they do very well. Fish snd chips are great, pizza is excellent and my son swears by the chicken schnitzel burger. Good prices and friendly service seal the deal.

Tonight was the first time i have been here and won't be the last. Ordered the 2 medium pizza & garlic bread deal for $26 great deal. The pizza's were yum & probably the best i've had. The staff that i had been served by were fantastic. There is some seating inside but more outside in the up coming warmer month's i'm sure the outside dinning area would fill easy. They also sell milk, soft drinks, coffees all the usual takeaway foods plus so much more including alcohol.

We have been coming to the Watson TakeAway for years and it rarely disappoints. It has got a lot more expensive over those years but if you want fried food, this is the place. Fish and chips, spring rolls, chico rolls, dim sims, Greek salads, pizza...they have it all. Service is fairly quick and most things are cooked fresh while you wait. You can pick from soft drinks or milk drinks from the fridges. They have a couple of indoor tables if you want to eat in but really, it's a take away joint.

Like others have said it is a typical Chinese restaurant.

I picked up a pizza from this restaurant for dinner while passing through Canberra. It was the best pizza I can ever recall having! The prices for all the food items are a bit high, but the portion sizes are generous. It has an old-school charm that many have mentioned before, and despite being very busy, the wait is worth it.
