Sherwood Restaurant @ Forrest Hotel and Apartments

Ridiculously overprice. Unfortunately we had to book this place 5 days before and paid $896 for 2 nights as we were not allowed to only book one night) The Floriade was on in Canberra and all hotels were booked out because of this event. This in nothing more than a 3 star motel not a hotel as stated) at best. The room was very small and outdated. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The only thing going for it was it's 10 minute walk to restaurants in Manuka. Would never stay there again.

Decent sized rooms for cheap prices. They have heating beds, microwave, clean bathrooms, basically everything you needed. The only thing missing was chromecast in TV.

You get what you pay for. Much more a motel than a hotel. The rooms are small and basic, but very clean. Also there is no allocated parking and insufficient parking for the number of rooms they have.However, night manager was very helpful and polite, made my late check-in very easy. Check out was a breeze as well. Good service all round on the weekend.
