McDonald's - Canberra

Where to start !! First the place was filthy with garbage strewn over the outside, inside floor, seats and tables. The staff were anything but competent. One guy filled a cup with ice and then pushed the ice cubes down with his finger then filled it up and served to an unwitting customer. Another female worker made a sundae, broke the syrup pump and walked away licking the sundae. The ice cube bandit then filled our order of 2 large sundaes using wooden spoons to scoop the syrup out one at a time because the pump was broken and then filled with ice cream 3/4 the way. Just horrible, unhygienic and disgusting. Will NEVER go back.

Absolutely disappointed will never return!!! Paid close to $60 for a family meal and didn’t receive then was only refunded $50 sorry but will not be returning!

We entered hoping to get a McCafe coffee on a late afternoon wintery day. No one on the McCafe service area, so went to the main registers, where lots of people running around in the kitchen serving drive through customers, but no interest in serving us. After a few minutes waiting we left without ordering, very unlike McDonalds from previous experience, suspect the move to self service in the few stores we visited on this trip is having some less than positive impacts on customer service

Today I ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin meal from the Belconnen McDonald's. The sausage and egg mcmuffin came with egg and the buns were cold and untoasted. My large orange juice came without a straw. This store is notorious for leaving items out of orders or getting it wrong completely. No straws for drinks is also very common with this store.

Driving around Canberra CBD through roadworks trying to find somewhere to park and something to eat. Finally spotted a Maccas after another trip around the block looking for parking we discovered it had drive through. Food just like any other but when you are in a strange city you grab what you can.
