Ka Sushi Ramen - Canberra

I head here for a hot and hearty bowl of chilli pork ramen.A few slices of pork belly and a perfectly cooked egg; what more could you ask for and for such an affordable price.I don't expect fine dining service here, just cheap tasty food, fast.

Had to wait for table. The main meals were a bit hit and miss but the mixed and vegetarian tempura were excellent. Green tea was very good.

Good for a quick and yummy lunch. A bit packed but that's due to the fact that the food is really good.

There's a lot of hype about this place, and I wonder what's the big deal? The food is not that great, and the prices, while not bad, don't make up for the below average food. I've been back here a few times but only because my friends choose it out of convenience.As for the staff, they're all fine except for the lady at the counter (maybe owner?). She was quite abrupt when I asked her how many pieces were in a dish, and she snapped, "6!" No smile or show of patience. And she wasn't just having a bad day, because she's been crabby on every other visit.I'll be on the lookout for better places that I might be able to steer my friends towards.

The cafe just adjacent to the university so it s a regular eatery for university students. The food caters for people who just want a nice quick meal which is not too expensive. It is a no frills place but is comfortable and the service is good. My friend and I enjoyed what we ordered and was able to talk as it was not too noisy. Yes, I would recommend the cafe for someone who just wants a meal that is wholesome and tasty.
