Caffe Cherry Beans - Canberra

I prefer the other Caffe Cherry Beans in Canberra as this one was lacking. The food isn't as good, it was rather pricey for the amount you get and it isn't the best location (busy, dark, crowded).

I prefer hot chocolate over coffee, so I always order that at this restaurant. The staff happily stamp my loyalty card every time I buy a hot chocolate. However, when I tried to redeem my 8th free drink, I was told it was only valid for coffee. I was not pleased with this policy and will not be returning.

Start your day off right with a lovely atmosphere at a charming cafe in Woden. We highly recommend trying the delicious green tea latte and don't miss out on the breakfast options, as well as the kid meals, burgers, and sandwiches. The relaxing ambiance with soft love songs playing in the background makes it a perfect spot for friends, couples, and families to enjoy a meal together.

Today, we visited this restaurant with our small child and ordered a banana bread and two drinks. While the child was exploring something, we briefly left our table for two minutes and returned to find our food had been cleared away. When we inquired with the staff, we were told that it was closing time and they had disposed of the food because they didn't see us. I suggested that they replace the banana bread at the least, but they insisted we would have to pay for it again. There was no offer of a refund or an apology at any point. After my insistence that they replace some of our order, the service woman rudely pushed the banana bread towards me and told me to take it. I do not believe this is the way a customer should be treated, and we will be filing a complaint with the ombudsman.

I met a colleague here for a business breakfast. There are several choices for breakfast, and staff were happy to make few adjustments meet my need for gluten-free. Our meals and drinks arrived quickly. The food is good serves generous. Good rating reflects that food is average. I would like to see gluten-free bread as a substitute for wheat bread.
