The Shore - Canandaigua

They are closed at this time, the hotel is being sold

Had a reservation for 7PM, called to let them know we were running late. Was told that if we were not there and placed our order by 7:45 we could not be served. Arrived at 7:33 and there was only one other couple in the place. Decided to go somewhere else.

We has a long wait for our food after we ordered it, however, our 2nd bottle of wine was comped on the bill.

Very good experience. However we were seated in between families with very small children. Very loud, the children were allowed to get out of their chairs and run around. I completely understand the need for family friendly restaurants, but I think sometimes people take this too far. This is a very nice restaurant with a wonderful ambience and I feel like this should be reserved for adults

I had visitors here from Germany for work. It was a great choice. They all enjoyed it. Thank you.
