Spinelli's - Canada

Spinelli's offers good sandwiches, but in my opinion, they are overhyped. I gave them an extra star due to their longevity, reputation, and use of fresh ingredients. While everyone I know loves this place, I personally am not a fan. I enjoy their sandwiches, but I wouldn't make a special trip to dine there. Despite my reservations, they always seem to be crowded whenever I pass by. I recommend trying it out for yourself.

If you are ever in the area of 95th Street and 105th Avenue (also known as Little Italy), you must visit Spinellis. Located in the back corner by the deli, you will find pre-made subs and sandwiches in a cooler, available in your choice of hot or mild. The sandwich includes three meats (capicola, mortadella, and I believe salami) topped with a generous serving of provolone cheese. You can also add some antipasto on a footlong baguette. It is a great value and enough to feed two people for lunch. The service is quick and the experience is easy.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and some delicious baked goods. The overall atmosphere is wonderful, with friendly and welcoming staff and regular patrons. I appreciate being able to do my grocery shopping at the Italian Centre and then unwind next door at Spinelli's. They offer a variety of homemade sandwiches, pizzas, salads, Italian pastries, and more. Additionally, they have a great selection of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, lattes, Italian sodas, and more. Whenever I visit, I always feel like I am surrounded by happy, friendly individuals. It is consistently a positive experience at this establishment.

Very good lunch place.  Prices are very reasonable for everything that we've had here, the coffee is both good and cheaper than a number of places in the city.  The only issue with it is space, but overall I'm generally fine with this.  Definitely should go there!

As an Italian it is wonderful to find this gem attached to the Italian Centre Shop in Edmonton. Some of the best coffee we've had in Edmonton, excellent pastries and a good atmosphere with enough space for the kids to sit without bothering others too much.
