Prashad Café Rondebosch (previously Maharajah Vegetarian)

Food was delicious, freshly prepared and nuanced with spices. I had the soya chicken biryani it came with all the trimmings including fried onions, flavourful and generous portion. My dining companions were very happy with their Cheese Paratha and Beans Bunny too. For vegetarian or vegan diners your choices are plentiful at Prasad Cafe. I look forward to my next visit.

Lovely spot with beautiful interior. The food was outstanding, especially considering it was all vegetarian/vegan!! Worth going to if you enjoy Indian cuisine and vegetarian food!!

What lovely curry — rather like Durban curry and not tainted by cape town's concepts of curry lol

I found small rock/pebble in my chickpea wrap. How does that even happen? Would not recommend.

This is a better late than never review. I got married in April and Prashad Catered for the wedding at Cavalli Estate and my 2 pre wedding functions. The food was to die for! I think every guest commented on how delicious the food was including my family from India (and they experts in Indian cuisine). The presentation was spectacular and so was the service. Krishan and Tereena really did an amazing job and were very accommodating. Hats off to the Chef Shantilal I would really recommend them … – show
