We tried DDE for the first time tonight. The food is good and well prepared. Pricing slightly above average. Service is slow. The ambience was good until they started playing the most awful, unsuitable music, at full throttle via bad speakers.. From there my enthusiasm went down hill very fast. Especially when the bill arrived and I realised that we were charged R 85 for a tiny little creme burley. Will I go there again? Probably not. Great family dinner spot.pleasant evening out with friendly service.

This is an absolutely amazing place for the entire family as the kids can play outside at the huge playground while the parents can enjoy their delicious food and a drink or two. We visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. There was plenty of space in the outside area right next to the playground, good music was playing and the staff was super friendly. There is a big shade structure for those hot days. Website is out of date. Its not really a restaurant anymore. Feels more like a canteen. No waiters
