Pastisserires Pomar - Campos

This posting is late. We visited March 2019. This cafe has limited seating. The pastries were really good and the pastry with sobrasada toping was a pleasant surprise.

In this unassuming town, we stopped at Pomar largely because we saw a long line outside. Tables outside and inside, nicely decorated. We got two ensaimadas, the best we’ve tried in Mallorca so far. Cappuccino was good. Good coffee machine. The only slight downside (hence 4 stars instead of five) is that inside is a bit dark and the AC is rather cold. Outside , there’s just too many cars passing by all the time. If you do take away or are up for a quick coffee, it’s a perfect place though. Worth it!

Introduced by the host of the hotel. They have two outlets here in Campos and one in Palma. The cafe has almost a hundred years of history. They have a bakery on one side and a seating cafe on the other side. We ordered some drinks and and a almond cake at the bakery and seated on the cafe. There are quite a few people in the line for order. The drinks are good, and the almond cake is basic but good in taste. Very authentic to the original taste. Should try if you ever in Campos.

La calidad es buena, aunque también lo cobran. Lo peor es que si vas por la tarde a tomar un café ya no hay nada que lo acompañe porque lo que se vende por la mañana ya no es replendido y por las tardes hay poca cosa o el pastel típico que no te gusta con un café. es curioso porque esto sucede en los tres que tienen en los campos incluso en los tiempos de verano que generalmente hay más gente.
