Starting with a starter of delicacies to the truffle and continuing with a square spaghetti with black truffle and dumplings to the porcini mushrooms and pistachio. The lunch has satisfied us, but we remained with the desire of truffle, which is not brought to the table and fresh grated on the plate. good value for money
The restaurant is located in the center of the lovely village of campli. beautiful internal location and with a very nice outdoor terrace. we took the menu with the appetizer and two first. the appetizer is more good than beautiful and was composed of a spinning cheese, a quail opel and an ascolana olive with truffle. good but not satisfactory. then came a half portion of dumplings to the porcini mushrooms (just the gnocchi and porcini) and a guitar with oil and truffle. The good guitar... but I expected some truffles. instead all the dishes have been proposed always a kind of truffle granella. mah! we also tried the fillet with the lard and truffle crab ... cooked too much ... and also arrived a little cold. excellent sweet pizza and good other desserts ... overall, we started with high expectations. Probably the problem was this. price in the average for this type of local ... I can't say if I would come back.
Elegance and quality of the dishes, courtesy and kindness of the staff; high quality ingredients are the basis of excellent dishes where truffles and mushrooms make it masterful. Truffle and oil guitars I was a little amazing!
We stayed in ohren by civitella del tronto and had come to campli during the day and decided to eat again in the evening. we had discovered another restaurant to eat, but it was closed so that we wandered into the small place and found this place. we were so glad that the other place was closed because it was wonderful to eat here. we shared a delicious fried cheese with truffle, a quail egg on a parmasen pancake with rubbed truffle and a filled olive with truffle. all delicious. we then shared a wild boar ravioli with porchini mushrooms and the gnocchi with porchini, amazing food and so good price! we had of course pudding, 4 small Panna-Citta with various toppings and a white Cholera emousse with celain sauce and rugged tocuit. if they are in campli, they must go! excellent wee and friendly staff
Lovely restaurant and some really exciting dishes. For us the standouts were a lovely tagliatelle dish with porcini and saffron-to which we added shaved truffles on request-and a magnificent hazelnut ice cream topped with truffle shavings...oh my!We also had a dish of pancakes with four cheeses and truffles-but this was let down by the plate being cold so it lost its heat really quickly. Good selection of local wines and would definitely recommend!
