Genghis Khan - Campbelltown

First time here with my sister. We really love it! Will definitely come back again. Great service great food.

Good atmosphere,basic restaurant and service was fast.Good selection of self assemble dishes and different as you watch the cooking process up close ( good for younger diners to experience).Little bit dark inside I thought.You can be in and out quite quickly if you want to be.We did find that after a few bowls the flavours are quite similar regardless of flavours chosen, possibly the cooking method of a shared upside down wok?Will go again early this time to check the wok theory

It was fun for to try something new but we found the food variety wasn't that great. Lots of frozen meat slices (which is fine) and an assortment of vegetables. You then line up and wait your turn to be able to hand your selection of meats/veges to be stir-fried. The line can get really long and by the time the cooks stir fry the food it shrinks to only about 1/3 of the bowl....meaning it takes 2 seconds to eat and you have to line up all over again. We had to help our kids get their bowls sorted so we prepared 2-3 bowls at a time and handed to cooks but then almost got told off! Our kids are firstly too young to handle it themselves and we weren't preparing the 2-3 bowls for ourselves, just a bit of understanding wouldn't go astray. Price-wise not really what i would call value for money. They should add things like noodles or rice to be able to stir fry with the food otherwise you're simply just eating a stir fry on its own which can get a bit boring. Tried it once but wouldn't go again

Choose your meat, veg, oils, spices and flavourings. Place it in a stainless steel bowl and give it to one of the chefs to cook on the shield over wood fire. Delicious!

Looking at this restaurant from the outside and when you first walk in, you think that this place is old. Well, it is. It has been around for years, and I dont think the owners have spent any money on the restaurant at all. However, the experience is AMAZING. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff member, and then shown to our table. There were 8 of us in our party, including 3 children. The atmosphere is bustling, and all tables were full of people. The experience is to gather your bowl and then fill it with slithers of available meats in the cold fridge. The selection on the evening we went was Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Pork and Calamari. You then proceed to the fresh vegetable fridge and add your selection of vegetables. After gathering the vegetables and meats, you proceed to pour over your selection of available sauces and oils to then finally give your bowl to the Cooks. The cooking takes approximately 1-2 minutes and it was brilliant to watch the guys cook your food in front of you. You are also given a basket of white bread sticks that are served warm. Drinks are available to order as well. You can have as many visits to the food BBQ as you wish in your visit.We will definatley return to this place for another meal.
