Anchor Inn - Campbell River

I had lunch at the Pacific Ballroom at 9:00 p.m. Coffee, water, and orange juice were served, along with pastries. They also offered tea, hot water, and soda. The view was amazing, we even saw some killer whales pass by. The service was excellent, with friendly and smiling staff. It was a fantastic day in a wonderful location...the only drawback was trying to leave the parking lot on the steep hill. The street was lacking in clear markings, causing people to drive in the middle and almost causing accidents.

This hotel is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful, the pub's accommodation is beautiful, and the food is delicious. The pool is lovely, the rooms are spacious, and although it can be a bit noisy on the lower floors, the top floor is peaceful. I highly recommend staying here, as it is conveniently located near town and shopping. The themed rooms on the top floor are equipped with large jacuzzi style tubs right in the room - how amazing is that!

I booked this hotel for my first work trip as the hotel, which was host to the conference, was sold out for the night. Check-in was easy, there was a friendly woman who welcomed me. She told me everything about the hotel and the amenities. Great service! My hotel room was perfect for me for the night that makes Roar the ocean for a big background sound in a stormy night! The hotel is relatively quiet, just heard a few other guests in the hallway, but unlike that was great! I will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed there this week for 2 nights and we were impressed by the friendly welcome at the reception and everything after. First we received vouchers for the 2 morning we were there to full breakfast (buffet style) and I must say everything was fresh, hot and delicious. We didn't use the pool or the hot tub, but we checked them and they looked great. The room was cleaned very well, only carpet and furniture a little outdated. But no complaints here as the beautiful view of the sea was unpaid. We also decided for dinner both nights in the restaurant and we were really impressed not only with the delicious food, but also the service. So nice to have such a great experience. We will definitely return. Thanks for offering such a wonderful short holiday.

Amazing ocean views service! Rooms were spotless and service was great. Maria went above and beyond for us, making recommendations, answering a million questions. She even personally booked our fishing license for us. We had no idea how to do it lol. So knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! Great experience overall.
