The Junction - CAMDEN PARK

In search of a decent salad, I ordered a Caesar salad for $18.90. When it arrived, it looked fine, but the presentation was oddly minimalist for a Caesar salad, which typically has a more chaotic appearance due to the dressing. The romaine lettuce was crisp and nice, but the dressing tasted almost exclusively of white vinegar—there was no flavor, just an extremely sharp and unpleasant tang. I generally have a high tolerance for sour flavors, but this was simply inedible. I managed to eat about a third of it before giving up. When the waiter checked on my leftovers, he apologized for my dissatisfaction, but that was the extent of the response. There was no offer for a replacement or any further conversation. By that point, I had lost my appetite completely, so even if they had offered, I wouldn't have been interested. It would have been nice if they had shown a bit more concern for the situation. I truly loved Silks, but unfortunately, I can't say the same for Morphettville Junction.

At the end of the restaurant, a vibrant and contemporary bar serves as the focal point, featuring multiple screens showing live sports for patrons to enjoy. The walls, adorned with memorabilia that pays tribute to the nearby racecourse, add to the lively atmosphere, ensuring there’s always something interesting to see while you wait for your meal. If you're still craving something sweet after your main course, you’ll find a tempting selection of desserts at very reasonable prices, ranging from $3.00 to $3.50 – arguably the best dessert deals in town. There’s nothing to complain about at this trendy, bustling bistro. Expect delightful service and delicious food every time you visit!

I've visited this restaurant a few times now. The service is somewhat lackluster, but I absolutely love the food! It tends to attract an older crowd, but the meals are fantastic and very reasonably priced. I ordered the parmy, which was around $22. They also have a selection of fancy ciders! Despite being quite full, I managed to finish my meal because it was just that delicious! Plus, their parmys come with ham on top—how great is that? They offer several different topping options and the usual gravies as well. I highly recommend this place if you don't mind a bit of a service drop-off! I'll definitely be coming back.

Tuesday's $15 carving night is fantastic and absolutely delicious!

The furnishings are excellent, creating a sporty atmosphere that is both enjoyable and functional. The meals are decent, but they don't stand out as exceptional.
