They do not often find this place in london. a place where it is not only about eating, because the quality of food is a preceding conclusion. the chef, Makoto-san, is a real expert, I think at least 30 years experience in japan. and france before I move to london. it is his atmosphere, which is a true jewel in london, it is where faithful mozens come weekly, it is where the owner connects with them on a personal level, and so did the associates. for me this is the true spirit of a local izakaya. I recommend her wagyu steak, ox zunge and all her sushi sashimi, as they are always super fresh. I recommend the highball. I had a bottle of whiskey there.
We had no booking, and we will get a takeaway, but decided to eat in the restaurant. some of the freshest sushi I've ever had. sushi is my absolute favorit and yokohama disappointed not. enjoyed it so much that I almost jump down to hear that I'm in the delivery service! the personal was pleasant, courteous and very attentive. so friendly and helpful.
My partner and I were here on Saturday night and didn't know where to go. we wanted to go to the japanese closer to our place, which was full and I remembered going to this place before, so we decided to try it. soouu we...did my partner is not even a big Japanese food fan, but now that this place is so close to home, we will be regular. it has won us on taste, size and price and the staff is so friendly. we're gonna be regular. the ochsenzunge is the best we ever had.
I went yesterday with my niece. Was the first Time. From outside the restaurant you can see a small kitchen with Japanese chef. I was curious to go in and eat but Yesterday was the time. There were only Japanese from chefs and waitresses. The...food was very tasteful and very good. The restaurant was with very poor furniture but its better. it's like to be in Japan in a normal simple restaurant. It's not important where you eat but how you eat. At least this is my opinion. In the bar there was a good selection of Japanese whisky suntory and yamasaki. I tried a yuzu sake was very light like a juice and very drinkable. I can't wait to come back . High recommend
