Vinyl - Camden

I went to a restaurant last night for a late dinner and I was impressed by the quality of the food. The brand new mini-tortillas and chicken wings, which weren't even on the menu yet, were exceptional. We also had two excellent enchiladas, an okay pizza, and a very good steak (not as good as Hawksmoor, but you shouldn't expect that from a Camden bar at half the price). The only downside was the average and oversalted chips. However, the attentive staff, 2 for 1 cocktails, and the fact that the Friday night music wasn't too loud to have a conversation made us all feel like we had found one of the best dining experiences in London.

I was there a few months ago in the night for a few drinks, then I didn't really like it too much. now I was there for dinner, and eating was good nothing special, but really good for a fair price and definitiw a more beautiful experience than the Spanish restaurant on the next door. the barmann was really friendly so the staff is a big plus. what was better than many other places was the music with a strong 90s touch. that may depend on your mood. sometimes they like to hear some 90s hits, sometimes not. but as I liked it made my stay at this place pleasant.

Disregard any previous reviews mentioning handing coats at the door, as this is not a service provided. I was a bit skeptical after reading these reviews, but I shouldn't have been concerned. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were excellent.

We have been visiting vinyl for a long time (at least since 2003). He used to be a great, underground vague place with emphasis on little food in the bar and good (not too much on his face) to dance. In recent years it has changed. The store record that used to be in the basement has gone, the music is now poor, dancy pop and what seem to be attempting in what is 'more sophisticated' have loaned the bar an environment that was hard to find. However we got in there last Saturday for some food in the hope of recovery some of the ancient vinyl magic. It didn't happen.First, the mandatory table service is slow, as it is always when your main drinks are cocktails. I would also like to go to the paid service bar with the drinks. Secondly, the food was not as described in the menu. We both asked for burgers (one chicken, veal) and, as we are not fans of 'Burger current in a brioche fashion, we did it because both said 'serial ball'. Unfortunately, they didn't come in this one, but another brioche. Also the chicken cheeseburger, although we should not mention the cheese staff in the menu and I ask that for that specific reason ...Third, the music and the environment have not improved. Unfortunately, we decided to give in vinyl.

Blond lady outside approached us to say that it was 2 4 1 cocktails when we left we were told it was not at all 2 4 1 but they would like to do it "as one in!' I am joking. It is not the ideal place if what you are looking for is a convo with your friends, deafening.
