With only about four tables and a couple of couches, the atmosphere is intimate and inviting. The coffee is top-notch, and I highly recommend trying the toasted cheddar cheese, pickles, and red onion sandwich - it was absolutely delicious.
Tap Coffee Bar on Rathbone Place is one of three locations in London. This cafe has gained popularity through social media, thanks to its visually appealing aesthetic. The combination of industrial lighting and reclaimed wood surfaces has captured the hearts of Instagram and Tumblr users alike. Tap Coffee Bar roasts their own beans in-house, which is just one of the reasons customers keep coming back. They offer a variety of brewing methods, from pour-over to espresso, catering to every caffeine lover's preferences. Customers can even purchase their favorite coffee beans to take home. In addition to their coffee, Tap offers a tempting selection of baked goods, including banana bread and breakfast pastries. The interior of Tap is simple yet cozy, with exposed beams and rustic wood surfaces giving it an earthy vibe. If you find yourself in the Soho area of London, I highly recommend stopping by Tap Coffee Bar for a delicious brew. You won't be disappointed.
I usually don't drink coffee elsewhere, but I make an exception for this place because I absolutely love their coffee. They source top quality beans from around the world, and you can even purchase some to brew at home. In addition to using high-quality ingredients, their preparation is also top-notch. You can pair your beautiful, hot drink with a fresh baked good, and one time I treated myself to a delicious muffin. The service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is even better. The music is lovely and relaxing, creating a vibe that leaves you feeling better when you leave than when you arrived.
The coffee was fantastic and the service was outstanding. All of the baristas were friendly and helpful, with a special shout-out to the American barista. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to London.
I avoid going to Pret or Starbucks for the most part, as I prefer to explore new places. One of my first discoveries near the office was Tap Coffee, and their branch on 26 Rathbone Place is conveniently close to work. They are famous for their large coffees and also serve fantastic hot chocolate. In addition, their food is equally delicious. You can get a slice of homemade quiche and a small salad for just over five pounds, which is a rare find in this area. Don't be fooled by the "small" label, there is plenty of food to enjoy!
