The husband and wife who run it are very hardworking and kind people, a big plate of duck and rice, mini spring rolls and a can of coke all for £8.70 eat in, where else can you get this in central London, 10/10
I stopped by this restaurant over the weekend for a quick meal, but a day later I started experiencing a fever and severe headaches, followed by several days of stomach upset. My doctor believes it may be due to e-coli food poisoning, and while I can't say for sure, I suspect I may have picked it up here.
The atmosphere of this noodle bar is simple and straightforward, lacking fancy decorations. However, the service is friendly and the food is delicious and skillfully made. The portions are generous, and I have never been able to finish a meal (which is considered rude in Chinese culture anyway). The main dish and rice are served in separate bowls, but you can request a plate if you prefer. The location is convenient, with the Tube station and several bus routes nearby.
This restaurant offers excellent food and generous portions for a great price, making it an ideal spot for a quick lunch. The spacious seating arrangement is a definite plus. We also appreciate the option for takeout. Overall, we give this place 5 stars for the food, price, and service.
It’s good value and decent quality. I’d recommend it especially on a budget. It’s also quick. Don’t expect a maître d’, this is run by a Chinese crew.
