During my recent stay in London, I was fortunate enough to stay directly above this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the friendly staff and customers I encountered. I highly recommend skipping the food stalls and coming straight here. After just one visit, we already felt like regulars.
After strolling along Leather Lane and deliberating what to eat, we decided on falafel. It turned out to be an excellent choice! The wait in line was only about 4-5 minutes, but when the falafels are being freshly fried right in front of you (definitely not microwaved as some claim), it's hard to complain. The friendly guy behind the counter was chatting and smiling with all his customers. I ordered the Falafel Haloumi wrap for £5 and it was huge. It was packed with filling, then wrapped, brushed with what seemed to be chili oil, and grilled. The result was a slightly crispy outside and a soft inside - perfect! Until I find something better, King of Falafel, your crown is safe!
I love falafel and salad and was anxious to try this version. It did not disappoint. Lots of cukes and tomatoes and numerous homemade falafel pieces. Hummus and sesame sauce included. Delicious. My husband had the Lebanese chicken over salad and loved it.
I've visited numerous falafel places in London but this one is the best. I have to visit regularly. The falafel and halloumi wrap is mouth watering and it’s only £6. This place is perfect. I recommend sincerely.
