Pickles were in order. the nitrile of my partner (2x lachs 3,50; 2x thunfisch 4) looked beautifully presented when I was shocked on the small side, on offensive by the chirashi sushi 15). instead, be with how by Takeaway menu (n.b we were in), and according to usual convention a fine selection of sorted sashimi on the bed of sushi rice it was a selection, what looked like shortcuts, all together on a bed of rice, including a ugly dosis of crumbs / fish sticks and avocado collided. I still forget my local Japanese restaurant – a very small place, just a few tables, but what a tasty bite in the position to get sushi so close. kami was previously satuma, but despite the change of property, with a good Japanese restaurant, as her native is a definitiw plus point! I always forget to make pictures at many places that I have been there, so this time I have. as my native, I like the fact that they are available with Bento box options and a plate/Bowl menu, which for lunch especially with a smaller choice in the evening meal. I always go for a Tonkatsu don, because that's my comfort class.
A tiny Japanese restaurant at the end of the kentish town high street, we both thought we had found a jewel. that the eating was a little so. divided some herbal tempura to the ingwer-infused sojasoße it came with was delicious, but I would have more quantities of less vegetables than the smorgasbord of single vegetables that we had preferred. a lot of change, but inconsistent compared to a Vis quality I loved the one piece tempourakarto for those people I didn't have a hühnerramen very adventurous, I know, so maybe I owe myself. it was tasty, but nothing more to read
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, but the service was incredibly slow. It was frustrating to watch takeout orders being prepared and delivered while we waited a long time to be served. Additionally, the constant presence of 3-4 Deliveroo drivers hanging around the doorway was disruptive in the small restaurant.
We went to this restaurant after they underwent a major renovation, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice night out in a quiet yet bustling restaurant. However, when compared to many other Japanese restaurants I have visited in central London, the prices here are quite high. I typically pay less for similar dishes at authentic Japanese restaurants in more centrally located areas. The sushi quality is excellent, with thick and fresh cuts, beautiful presentation, and a good variety on the menu despite the small kitchen. However, I was disappointed in the portion size of my favorite dish, the grilled eel on rice, as the eel was much smaller than usual for the high price of £18. I believe that the decrease in eel prices over the years should have been reflected in the portion size. For this reason, I rated this restaurant 2 out of 5 stars for value. If you are searching for fantastic sushi in Kentish Town, this is the only option available, so I recommend it to local Japanese food enthusiasts.
