The Village Eatery - Cambridge

Visited this little gem for a quick dinner during the week. We both had fish and chips. And were so pleasantly surprised at great meal we had. Great batter on the fish. Home cut fries. Good portions. We also shared a Cobb salad. The meal was delicious and easy on the pocket. We will be back to try other items off the menu. It look very interesting.

If in Hespeler and looking for a great lunch you need to stop at the The Village Eatery which is now the new name of this restaurant.

Omg....it looks a bit rough..but boy oh boy..the staff and the food...totally make up for it! The shawarma poutine...oh..there aren't enough words to describe how delicious this is

I love shawarma, this place is now under a new name I believe but it's still good. Reasonable prices, beef and chicken shawarma are good. Service could be offered with more of a smile, not the friendliest shawarma place in town but good healthy food in a pinch

This a local lunch spot, the shawarma was good once I had waited for what seemed like half an hour. There were three people ahead of us and two guys working. Pick up the pace boys, we have places to go. I will happily return, however I will see if there is line. then look at my options.
