Honestly I’m shocked the burgers are great here even for a steep price. However if I were to give a negative I had trouble finding a seat in the booths that were wiped down properly. I heard previous complaints from friends that their poutines were very salty, well I got news for you they came to me unseasoned which is great because I get to salt them myself. They’re good by the way perfectly crispy slightly more brown for a deeper flavour than your regular fries so I’d imagine the poutine would be good the crispness may be present even with some gravy all over it. Double bacon cheese burger I got is great.Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers, fries obviously, supreme veggie poutine, mushroom caps and breaded pickles.

Sam's is a great place for what it is. Food may be a tad over priced, but quality is consistent and in my opinion better than most. Halifax Donir is spot on like the ones I've had down east, and the Poutine could possibly be one of the best I've had yet.You'll have my repeat buisness.

The Newfie Mess poutine was a taste from home I had never expected to find this west. Anyone from Atlantic Canada will love it, and anyone else looking for a savory and hearty meal in the cold weather will find this hits the spot!

Its my second time today here at sam’s grill .. Everything was heavenly delicious and fresh. U get worth of your money and the food not only satisfies your hunger but also your soul. Must visit place.

Had the combo #4 burger poutine pop and it was very good and super filling. Very good poutine. Bonus for the plastic straw!
