Alpha Greek - Cambridge

Went there for lunch. I had the Calamaris and my wife the Chicken Souvlaki. Both dishes were delicious. Friendly service, clean palce and reasonably prices. A place to coime back for sure.

They give generous portions to fill you up. Very fresh salad and vegetables, steamed rice and potatoes and they grill their souvlaki right in front of you as you order.

As you walk in, you see tables to sit at and a pretty expansive menu. Lots of choices. Yes, building your meal seemed kind of slow, but I think the server was meticulate about putting together your meal. It was good though, generous portions and tasty gyros. There are plenty of choices for eating around, but this seemed to corner the market for greek food.

Service was slow, but polite. The salad was great, but the lamb was not freshly cooked. It came out of a pan on the hot line and tasted like it had been simmering in hot water all morning. No flavor. Baklava was really good.
