Sulmona - Cambridge

Sulmona in Cambridge is fantastic. The food is excellent, from the salads to the pizza and pasta. In the summer, they open the windows to let in a nice breeze, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, it’s just a great place to enjoy a meal.

For our main courses, we all chose various pasta dishes: the vongole, nonna's spaghetti, amatriciana, and wild boar ragù. Each pasta dish was homemade and tasted fantastic. I ordered the amatriciana, which was quite good, but I felt the sauce lacked a bit of seasoning and spice, plus there wasn't much guanciale. The pasta itself was excellent. I also sampled the ragù, which was absolutely delicious, so I would definitely recommend it and plan to order it on my next visit. My friends seemed to enjoy their dishes as well. To make the birthday celebration extra special, the restaurant surprised us with an apple tart topped with a candle, which was such a thoughtful gesture! Sulmona is one of the upscale dining options in the Kendall/Central area. The ambiance and decor create a lovely atmosphere, complemented by attentive staff. While the prices are somewhat high, the quality of the food is impressive. The Chicken Parmesan and Carbonara were particularly delicious, but you really can’t go wrong with any item on the menu.

We were thrilled to discover Sulmona after noticing the lengthy wait at Cafe Luna. The breakfast we had was fantastic. We ordered skillet pancakes, grilled banana bread, chocolate chip waffles, eggs Benedict, and the Italian countryman breakfast. Overall, both the food and service were exceptional. Our server, Vanessa, did an excellent job, especially with the extra strong iced coffee she made for my wife. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch.
