After giving her some options for different types of food, she decided on Mexican cuisine. We were seated promptly and I really enjoyed the salsa, which had a unique and delicious flavor. I ordered a mezcal margarita and for my main course, I had some delicious mushroom quesadillas. Overall, it was a great experience and if I am ever in the area again, I would definitely come back.
For those who grew up eating at Chevy's on the West Coast, this restaurant will bring back memories. Their dine-in menu offers classic Tex-Mex dishes like enchiladas, tacos, and sizzling fajitas. I tried the chiles rellenos with pork and also had a refreshing horchata. The food was tasty with balanced seasonings. The rice was soft and the pico de gallo/lettuce side was simple but everything paired well together. I highly recommend trying the horchata, which had a subtle sweetness and rich cinnamon flavor. They also have a Chipotle-style take-out counter for convenience. This place is also popular for their alcoholic drinks.
The waitstaff at this restaurant were very friendly, and the food and drinks were great. I will definitely be coming back! I went for brunch with three friends and we all had a fantastic time at Ole!
Ole is a great spot to go to when you want a good and fast burrito. Although they operate as a restaurant, they have a take-out menu as well where you can customize your own burrito, burrito bowl, or nachos, etc. Each burrito is packed with a good amount of flavor. They have a pretty good variety of meats, beans, toppings, and sauces. Their food is always solid, and I love how they give you free chips and salsa as well to accompany your food. I am always left craving more chips and salsa afterward. I also enjoy getting their churros. They are generously sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Whenever i am craving a consistent quality burrito, i always come back to Ole. I only come here for take-out, so I can not say too much of the menu they serve to those who dine in.
I came with a group of ten and was happy to get a reservation that large at the last minute on a Sunday. I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas, which were solid in themselves, although the rice was ever so slightly dry for me and the beans were pretty tasteless, alas. I enjoyed the Agua de Jamaica and found that they have a pretty good beverage menu. Unlike some places nearby, the chips and salsa are both very good. However, the tres leches cake was dry--not terrible, but dry, which is unfortunate. It's one of the few dishes where you want them to make it the day before so the milks can absorb into the sponge cake. All that said, our server was friendly and we had great conversation. On the whole, I'm not running back to Olé but would choose it over some other places.
