Jose's Mexican - Cambridge

A fond farewell, José 's! A real-estate deal is forcing you to close, but we shall miss you, and hope you 'll be able to come back to Cambridge very soon!

The restaurant is closing at the end of this month. Had to het in one last visit.

Seeing Carlos, the owner, greeting us at the door and walking us to our table was excellent. A great signal that the pandemic is almost over. Carlos and his staff were very friendly and attentive to our service needs. Food was excellent. Now with this new found freedom, we plan on being back to Jose’ s very soon.

Service was a little slow, but that was understandable given the post pandemic situation.

Food was amazing and the margaritas were delicious. Taking one star off because we had reserved and outdoor table and when we arrived we were told that they don’t take reservations for outside seating and wouldn’t honor it. That was annoying since it clearly stated in the open table app that the reservation was for an outdoor table.
