John Harvard's Brew House - Cambridge

We were seated quickly and received our menus right away. However, when we placed our orders, the food arrived a bit too quickly, suggesting it may have been pre-prepared. My fried cod and scallops tasted frozen, as if they had come straight from a frozen foods box. My wife's salad was nearly inedible and easily one of the worst she's ever had. Our daughter's fish tacos were overcooked, and she only managed to eat one of the three. I truly hope this restaurant reevaluates its standards, as the quality of the food we experienced was disappointing.

As soon as our waitress noticed us (10 minutes) the food and drinks were fast. the waitress forgot our requested waters and never made eye contact to get their attention to drink more (I had to scream over the restaurant.)

The food is fantastic! The lobster buffalo mac and cheese is a standout dish. I don't think I need to say anything else!

One of my favorite places in Cambridge! It's great for sitting with groups. I just wish there were more options for dietary drinks.

This is my go-to spot when I'm with a group of friends. The beers are great, they have a full bar with reasonably priced drinks, and the food is excellent! What's best is the service... every server has been welcoming, patient, and gets our orders perfectly.
