The building, I am told, is one of the oldest breakfast places in the countryYou'd think, then, that they'd know how to make breakfast.
This place always has a large crowd, but I'm not really sure why.
The vegan options are limited and those they had were mostly fried. it is a good place for fast eating, but if they are looking for something healthy, that is not it.
We have the cheek-peas (aka falafel) plate and the seasonal zucchini plate that came with a few slices tofu in a sweet sauce. we also have the pommes. the food was good and filled. I liked the sides a lot (cole and bean salat and a black lens side) as well as the Harissa sauce that came with the cheek-erbsenplatte. falafel was in order, nothing special. pita was hot and soft. fries were unfortunately overdone and not so delicious. it was a good place to satisfy vegan and non-vegans. although vegan articles were not marked on the menu, the person who took our order was well prepared to tell us what was vegan, veganisable and not vegan. the prices were fair.
