Cotto - Cambridge

I had a fantastic evening with delicious food, excellent service, and divine drinks! I highly recommend this place for a business meeting or a special occasion. We started with a trio of duck and tuna, which was amazing! For our main course, we both chose lamb, and for dessert, we indulged in an almond apricot cake and cherry with mascarpone. Everything was thoroughly enjoyable!

One of the top fine dining restaurants in Cambridge, in my opinion, meets Michelin standards from every angle. The food is outstanding—each dish is incredibly delicate and flavorful, making every bite a delightful experience. The lobster soup is both comforting and satisfying, especially on a chilly winter day. The sashimi is exceptionally fresh, with no trace of fishiness at all. The lamb is so tender that it practically melts in your mouth, leaving behind a rich, savory taste from the jus. The dish is balanced with a light, refreshing element that pairs wonderfully with the natural sweetness of the roasted and stuffed potatoes. It has far exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend dining here.

Cotto is one of the few best restaurants in Cambridge, with a Michelin star cook and service. It has recently moved to the Gonville Hotel, and it makes a very comfortable and upscale setting, with most tables a great view of the Parkers Piece. It is difficult to book, but it is worth waiting and costs. We did not come to the "Schmuck Menu", but the selection was very rich and some dishes quite amazing (all very refined, but the Venison and the sweat cake were excellent). The waiter was very knowledgeable and gave good advice and advice. Well done, Hans Schweitzer!

An excellent restaurant in the Gonville Hotel. The food quality is first class, better than I have experienced in some Michelin starred establishments. The ambience is modern and very smart and still intimate and cosy. The service on our visit was immaculate with staff very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Service is reasonably formal and attentive without being stuffy or intrusive. Highly recommended for a visit.
