Chipotle Mexican Grill - Camarillo

I really dislike writing a negative review, but I have to say this location has significantly declined. Over the past 2-3 years, the food has been consistently disappointing. Everything is excessively salty—this is coming from someone who typically enjoys salt. The carnitas, steak quajillo, and even the rice are all way too salty. The beans are so spicy that my child can’t eat them, and when we asked the staff if they were kid-friendly, they clearly said no. They really need to improve their training. The chicken is low quality and also spicy. To top it off, the regular steak is tough and spicy as well. As locals who used to enjoy this place and appreciated the staff, we’re sad to say that this might be our last visit until we hear that things have improved. We ended up throwing away half of our food!

I really enjoy Chipotle. The food is tasty and fresh. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the green or red sauces; I usually go for guacamole and pico de gallo instead. The service was quick and friendly, which I appreciated.

I really like the food, but it seems to be getting more and more expensive. I ordered chips to go with my meal for a little over a dollar, which I thought was worth it. However, when I got home, I was disappointed to find the chips were stale. The quesadilla I ordered was a bit greasy, and the greens I requested as a side were wilted. Even so, we'll likely return, as it might just have been an off day. Usually, my experiences here are quite good.

During my visit today, they unfortunately ran out of lettuce. However, the staff was extremely helpful, and I truly appreciate their service. This is the first time I've encountered a shortage of an item here, and I typically come 1-2 times a week.
