Bread Basket Cake Company - Camarillo

Very disappointed. 2nd time I purchased from this place tried the coffee cake this time and it was very dry like it's been sitting out for a while. I didn't even serve it to my guests. They charge a lot for their coffee cake. Very disappointed to have paid $20 dollars on a coffee cake that was dry and no good. I tried to exchange it 3 days in a row but they were closed. Now spent 30 dollars on gas and still stuck with dry cake.

Customer Service Disaster! In weeks pas, I experienced a cake with white chocolate around the entire cake. I tried to order the same cake for my sister 's birthday... Unfortunately, I used the wrong word when describing my order. When I went to pick up the cake, I saw it was like many others in the case... The girl behind the counter argued with me regarding what words I used to describe the cake, you never said that word . Rude. I asked for the Manager, and the girl came back out and said, the manger said she can do nothing for you . Disrespectful. Poor Management. I told my friends at the dog park about my experience and they ALL had a similar disappointing experience at the Bread Basket in Camarillo. Sad. They all said, it use to be good ' '. Oh, never use the word shard for bark. The expert behind the desk schooled me.

After buying Birthday cakes for years I was so disappointed we picked up our cake on Saturday and the bread was completely dry we threw away more than half away they are closed Sunday and Monday and finally spoke to them after. All they said is sorry nothing they can do unless we had saved the cake and taken it back it went in the trash why would be save something no one liked and waited days for them to open to return the cake. There not cheap expected a better response besides sorry lost a long time customer

Ohhhh yummy!! This is by far the best business to get a cake or pastries. They never disappoint, always on time with your order and friendly.

Clearly they are cutting corners on quality ingredients.For over 20 years I've bought cakes at BBCC at least 3 times a year. All of my guests would rave and begin frequenting the store as well.The guests were turned off by the unusual presence of gritty butter cream that only tasted of sugar and nothing like butter. This new type of low budget butter cream icing was used copiously. There was hardly any French whipped cream, and I mean hardly! They ran out of white chocolate shavings with no warning despite placing an advanced order and the cake was dry.We will not be back. I will notify friends family not to waste the money. I would have gladly paid an inflated price for quality if the business needs to survive.
