Il Rifugio - Calvanico

This week we were looking for a quick pizza in the Tramonti area and I remembered this lovely place. They were hosting a big group but we were quickly taken to a table well away from the noise. We had one pasta dish with fresh, home made pasta with sausage and mushrooms plus a pizza and we divided the food, plus 2 bottles of cold beer, and the quality of the food was FANTASTIC. And all this for only 26 Euro???? Amazing value.

Well, off the beaten track?? To say the least, cos you really think that you have taken the wrong beaten track. Isolated to say the least, and then when you park you must climb a small hill up some rustic steps and then find the way in but when you do...wow. The place is stunning and the welcome warm, and the food and drink truly EXCELLENT. Dont miss this place it is really worth a visit, and the pizza and the pasta are wonderful, and all for 25 Euro for 2 people.
