The chef even stopped by our table and chatted- he is so lovely! 5/5 food: there were 2 of us and we ordered the pork dumplings (homemade every day by the exec chef himself and you can tell- they are superb and we could have made a full meal out of them- you can get them steamed or fried- we opted for steamed and they were divine! , chicken gyoza (the dumpling sauce they make is their own soy sauce and has a touch of sriracha in it and it's the best dumpling sauce we have ever had hands down , the platter of kabobs and a salad and rice. We are very pleased we ordered only one salad (spicy delicious!! Perfect crunch and so very fresh tasting and one rice because we didn't even finish the one bowl of rice! The kabob platter was soo good and we ended up taking about a third of it home because we were so full- our favorites were the crying Tiger (beef belly , pork belly and chicken satay but the chicken beef teriyaki and lemongrass chicken beef were delicious too! The chicken meatballs were a bit dry in our opinion but still had a nice taste and we took our prawn home because we were too full to try it Please go if you are reading this because they only opened 3 or so months ago and are trying to get more customers in! We will recommend to all of our friends in the area and will be going back :
This restaurant exceeded expectations. The service was amazing, everyone was very friendly, and the vibes were immaculate. All of the food left us full and extremely satisfied! Would reccomend to anyone! One of the few restaurants in dc where you don’t leave with a stomach ache highly reccomend the platter.
The food was phenomenal! I highly recommend the beef teriyaki skewers. The chicken gyoza was crunchy and tasty. Service is fast and they’re extremely considerate about food allergies. I definitely recommend coming here!
Good food; not something out of this world or spectacular. But pretty good! The staff was nice and explained the food thoroughly while also giving recommendations.
This is a diamond in the rough of Washington,DC. If you find yourself in Georgetown you may walk right past this small unassuming white building with it 's humble signage. However, if you do I will tell you that you are denying yourself an amazing treat for your pallet. The best way for me to describe the food is that it 's the most flavorful bites of asian inspired meats you will find in the Georgetown area. As a seeker of good food, I always find myself attracted to smaller restaurants (holes in the wall) or what we call mom and pop spots. The reason is because they typically pride themselves on service and quality of food, it 's big taste and service in a small location. That 's Sticx in a nutshell big taste, small location. I went here with my wife and brother from out of town. We order the platter which was a ton of food but it allowed us to basically taste everything on the menu and for $60 including my drink that 's a great price for what you get. Out of all the meat 's (which were excellent) my favorite was the Crying Tiger. I don 't know what they do to that beef, but man it was so good that when I finished it I was a bit sad. The location makes great use of the space, the staff is super friendly and very accommodating, and the food is excellent. There aren 't many seats so I recommend you call ahead and reserve, but one way or the other if you visit, you won 't regret it.
