Le Bon Café - Calumet-Norvelt

Very cute cafe. Very tasty breakfast. I had the waffle and my husband had the avocado bread. Both were very good. Highly recommended, very well attended and at a great price. We would come again. :

4/10/24Hotel's breakfast was awful yesterday, and we this cafe down the block.It's a tiny space, and there was a huge line. I grabbed a table and hubby waited in line to order.Breakfast Sandwich was good. The croissant was buttery.Egg Strata was good. Interesting like a fritata but different.

I didn't like this place. I ordered a cappuccino and they gave me black coffee with milk. They did not immediately agree to replace the request with a real cappuccino. The second time they did better. I didn't really like both the service and the cleanliness of this place. I won't come back here for sure.

The waitress got the food order wrong and doubled down on being right. I reordered and repaid for the food because it was a small business and the argument wasn’t worth the $10 to reorder. The staff lacked professionalism before, during, and after the events. Even after paying for the meal a second time, the staff was cold and rude.

Another of DC 's Hidden Gems, hidden from the tourist crowd but not from locals, we enjoyed our light brunch in this cozy but convenient cafe. We dined al fresco and enjoyed the quick break while watching passers-by.
