GreenIsland Bakery makes THE most delicious shortbread cookies you will ever taste my family enjoyed the light, melt in your mouth flavors so much that we ate all three packages we bought in one sitting. They're beautifully packaged and uniquely tasty they also make for a beautiful gift! As a self proclaimed cookie connoisseur, I cannot recommend them enough :

The shortbread cookies are dry and do not taste like they contain butter. Don't waste your money, just buy Pepperidge Farm Dublin cookies at your local supermarket.

I have not been to this bakery but I witnessed the owner mailing out a number of parcels with her company labels this morning at a DC post office. She was angry about the process and the time it was taking, and she became irate. The language she used to speak to her partner who was with her and the post office workers was so awful that I felt compelled to share here for her customers to know. One of the many things I overheard was a disparaging comment about the postal worker who had helped her. She said that the postal worker was like 70 years old and shouldn 't even be out of her house, let alone working there. She also called her partner a number of terrible, terrible names when he tried to diffuse the situation, telling him he was a d a who knows nothing about business and he shouldn 't dare even speak to her and to keep his mouth shut.
