Dc Tasty Corner In Wash

I kept passing by this hole in the wall on my bike to and from Georgetown and finally stopped in. It's a marvelous place run by an Uruguayan guy who makes all the tasty treats most with a native flavor. I highly recommend the empanadas and the chicken and steak cheese subs. Not much room inside but tables outside in the shade. I had a lovely visit and enjoyed a splendid repast. Definitely going back until I have tried everything on the menu. In addition to the food choices, discussed with the owner ways to travel in South America and what to see and do in Uruguay. Most enjoyable. You should definitely stop in.

Incredibly delicious fresh food for a reasonable price. The proprietors were friendly and quick. I will definitely be back.
