Chef Geoff's - Calumet-Norvelt

Nice place. Large outdoor seating area, good sized inside. Food and service were both quite good. Tables are a little close together and it was a bit loud, but should be a fine, safe choice for most people.

Moules Frites...the perfect pairing! One suggestion...provide an empty bowl for the shells! Service was a bit slower than usual, but overall, this neighborhood gem is consistently good!

Tasty healthy food for our group of 4 adults and two children. One child was mildly upset because the children's menu didn't include Mac and cheese. Patio dining in good weather is a bonus.

Our server was great and very attentive. The food came very promptly. But our drinks took forever to come much too long. Our server told us there was only one bartender and was very backed up. Our second round of drinks came after our dinner was finished. Apparently the bar was still backed up. Regardless, that was inexcusable.

First-time visit to Chef Geoff's Happy Hour: delicious fish tacos, juicy perfectly prepared burger with tasty aioli, wide array of local craft beers . . . And knowledgeable bartender who also serves the high-tops on perhaps DC's best restaurant terrace. Salad was just okay but excellent sweet potato fries more than made up for that. A great find, and just across from another Cathedral Heights neighborhood gem with amazing daily HH, Al Dente. Lucky neighborhood!
