Stones at Dicky's - Caloundra

Last night at Stones in Dicky Beach, QLD, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our meals. The service was excellent, including their convenient iPad ordering system. All of the dishes were served piping hot.

We had the best pizzas at Stones Restaurant at Dickie Beach. I ordered the Spicy Italian and asked for it to be made as spicy as I wanted, and it turned out perfect. The crust was crispy and cooked perfectly. My husband had the Ham and Pineapple, which he always gets, and even though it's a bit boring for me, I thought it was really good. The service was great and the owner and his grandson were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you, gentlemen.

Fancied a coffee and a milk shake for the little one, stopped in at Stones. Ordered to a 13 year old (if even that) with no customer service and waited 15 minutes for our cold drink (out the fridge) then my 2 year old got her milkshake 15 minutes after that (asked for a small child's size, got a huge serve without any kind of lid so it went everywhere!) my husbands coffee arrived 10 minutes after that, then my hot chocolate arrived 10 minutes after that (in a take away cup) while a nice mug wouldn't have gone a miss as we were sitting in. I asked another young lad why is mine in a take away cup?! His response was I don't know, it came like that. We were well and truely over it by now! A family next to us got mouldy bread and a really crappy breakfast to them, lucky for them they got their money back. Just a really crappy place! Such a Shame being in such a great location they should embrace that and Change BIG TIME!!

Looking for a causal breakky brunch or pizza, this place has a basic but food selection and you won't spend your mortgage repayments on the avo and feta! I'd be keen to come at night and try the hot stone cooked steaks!We had omelette and avo and feta w Turkish bread and we both enjoyed our coffee No beach view but the photographic art in their little cafe is worth a look.

Steaks cooked on volcanic rock! Very cool and exciting to do! Staff were great! Steak was excellent quality and had the sticky date for dessert! Will be back ????????
