My Beach Spot - Caloundra

We purchased a groupon voucher for dinner here. The mains were very generous. Kids meals were what you would expect. The calamari were very tender. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Imagine stunning views across a sparkling pool to the crystal blue waters on the Pumicestone passage. Coupled with one of the best breakfasts available on the Sunshine Coast - you have a match made in heaven! The hosts are amazing and the coffee and food is incredible. If you want REAL bacon, perfect eggs, amazing avocado smash all served on delicious toast - this is the place for you!!! Wonderfully inexpensive and perfect meal sizes too. Sit in the warm winter sunshine or admire the view from inside - the beach decor makes you feel like you are on holiday. Better food but far than many expensive cafe's we have visited - not to mention the lovely host/owner looks after those in need with her 'Pay it Forward' initiative. If you are a local or on holiday - you must pay a visit, you won't be disappointed, enter through the foyer of the Gemini Resort at Golden Beach or press the buzzer near the pool on the waterfront.

We purchased a Groupon voucher and were greeted warmly upon arrival. We decided to sit at a table adorned with a lovely tablecloth, while some tables were left bare. We enjoyed a delicious starter of loaded wedges, which was very satisfying.

Had a voucher for tapas and main meals - we were wowed both with the friendliness of the staff, the service and more importantly, the food! This is a restaurant/cafe tucked away as part of a resort, but anyone can eat there. Coffee was great too. We were staying just up the road, so was in walking distance - a great little spot, highly recommended. Our voucher made this absolute value for money.

We're locals and have been visiting My Beach Spot for nearly a year now - sometimes as a couple for a quiet coffee after a walk; sometimes with visiting family or friends for breakfast or lunch. From our very first visit with 6 adults and 4 toddlers we've always felt welcome. Staff are extremely friendly, the setting is relaxed and very comfortable, the food is simple but great, their coffee can't be beaten and the price is right! Best cafe in the area.
