Blue Orchid Thai Restaurant - Caloundra

We ordered a departure as the restaurant opened. serve curry buffers, chicken yellow curry, cocos and spicy chicken brood rice. that was just waiting for a table to eat, no one else waited for take. they forgot the curry. the curry was tasteless. the potatoes were boiled. I would not recommend this restaurant!

We enjoyed our evening meal selection. especially good were the steamed dim sims and the fish cakes (all made on the ground). our pad thai pork and pad thai prawns were both a bit dry to or captivating and could. of some carrots, beans, brokkoli, etc. have enjoyed. it would definitely try again at a future caloundra visit.

Was not already in this thai restaurant for quite, while service was very slow restaurant half full staff said always sad I fear not good enough other reviews on there direct website shows restaurant is not good eating was usually not up to standard owners...not there on a Saturday night what should I do? will not be back

The food was really delicious and tasteful. has not been disappointed at all. there was also a nice atmosphere. we will definitely be back to try more dishes.

I try to get up to the Sunshine Coast three or four times a year, and a visit is never complete with out dinner at Blue Orchid! It never disappoints ... I've never had anything on the menu that wasn't great, even that massaman curry.. which really isn't my favourite Thai dish, is great here. The last visit, Steve recommended a lamb dish, I know what you're thinking not particularly Thai, but it was as good as everything else I've had there. I do particularly love the duck red curry it's magnificent! Since the roadworks were out the front making parking a major pain, it seems to have been a bit quiet, but the food and service are still every bit as good as ever. If you haven't tried it, it's definitely worthwhile!
