Stella Alpina - CALICE AL CORNOVIGLIO

Basic Italian food beautifully served. Very tasty and a very low price for a very good meal. Good service and pleasant people. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area.

If you ever happen to come by the area of Calice, don't miss to have lunch or dinner here! Unpretentious, simple but delicous traditional food, brought to you by very friendly service. You get the best local ingredients from the region prepared by skillful hands. We had fantastic fresh salad and ravioli as starters, a delightfully tender wild boar casserole and a wonderful ameretto-cake for dessert! Would eat there every day!

Every time we visit Italy, we make a point of visiting Stella Alpini. The food is simple but delicious, staff very helpful and friendly. Most of all the location is superb. The peace and tranquility of the area and magnificent views down the mountains from Santa Maria are unforgettable. Long may it continue!!!
