La Flor de la Canela - Cali

This is a peruvian food restaurant in Cali and one of the best if I can say. Her Leche de tigre is great and her seafood.

I am not sure if I should give this restaurant such a high recommendation as it is very busy as it is, and no wonder. Certainly one of the best restaurants in Cali both in terms of the ambience and quality of the dishes. The selection of dishes is quite excellent, although they focus on seafood, they have an excellent selection of meat dishes. Everyone is almost presented as a work of art and the waiters obviously enjoy serving such delicacies. Not cheap, but you get what you pay.

Peruvian food is becoming increasingly popular throughout Latin America. This restaurant is on the go for a while and the quality remains very good. I tried aji de galina who was excellent. Deserts are also good.

I had seen this restaurant a few days ago and made it back to eat there tonight. I had the Musciami de pulpo. It had a tomato sauce base with chunks of tomato and avocado with ceviched slices of octopus. Eaten cold on crackers, it was delicious! The restaurant has a full menu of seafoods plus beef, chicken and pork dishes. The hot sauce spiced this up nicely. The atmosphere is good here and the facility is clean and neat. The service was first class.
