Wellingtons Restaurant - Calgary

I was recommended to visit Wellingtons by a self styled food guru friend that always complains about the food wherever we go together for a meal. He had only the highest praise about the ambiance and the quality of the food,so we went for our much anticipated meal.Bottom line, I have never ever before had a meal prepared to such perfection. I was in seventh heaven and so was the rest of our party. There was not one small iota that we could criticize throughout the heavenly encounter, and we have made this restaurant our place of choice.

On the fourth day of our road trip from Texas to Lake Louise, we were quite fortunate to find this gem in south Calgary. The cocktails were perfect, the service very attentive, without being overwhelming, and the entrees very tasty. If you are in this part of Calgary, you won't go wrong with a stop at Wellington's.

When we come here I like going to the lounge side for dinner. The atmosphere is casual and quiet. Service is very fast, friendly and food is excellent. We enjoyed the tasty veal cutlet and steak sandwich. For dessert I chose the house made cheescake with berry sauce. Delicious!

We had a great dinner at Wellingtons of Calgay. It was so enjoyable as it was a quiet space without loud music an tv's all over blaring

Took our Calgary family for a celebration meal. The menu selection was outstanding. The associates were very professional, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive. The varied meals the 4 of us embellished , were prepared to our liking, hot, flavourful, and presentation was was pleasing to the eye. The meals incuded ( between the 4of us) Caesar salad, veal cutlets, steak, baked potatoes, soup, deserts. The ambiance was very pleasant. You have a choice between bar and dining rooms. Parking could be a problem depending on time of day/nite!
