This is a great sandwich place for lunch, in the summer. People wait in line (outside) to get to their sandwiches, beef, chicken, and pork. The buns are fresh, the ingredients savoury and the whole experience wholesome. I wish we had more such places.
This was an all around amazing food experience and one of the best sandwiches I've ever had the opportunity to enjoy. There's a reason why there is often a long line to get in. The wait is well worth it. The family that runs the restaurant is very laid back, friendly, and talkative - I don't remember ever having service that friendly at another restaurant. The value is incredible - everything on the menu is CAD $7.50 or under, and the sandwiches are filling, so a meal here is very cheap. The actual sandwich was wonderful - a crispy baguette with a nice, fluffy inside, and deliciously fresh vegetables and meat. Overall, an incredible experience. Nearly anybody can eat here - sandwich lovers, Asian enthusiasts, meat eaters, vegetarians, etc. Highly recommended to anybody visiting Calgary!
