The Living Room Restaurant - Calgary

I cannot say enough good things about the living room restaurant From food to staff everything was amazing. We have booked event room for our wedding reception below and all loved the food! From the first email I sent, they answered every question I had within the record time!

This place has without question the best culinary experience I had in Calgary. The balance of price point, food quality, atmosphere and quality of service makes this place, pound for pound, the best restaurant in the city. Somewhere you can go for casual drinks with staff/friends, but also for special occasions it is essentially what each restaurant should be, and what unfortunately is lacking painfully in the vast majority of the other companies. I have previously worked as a cook/cook/server, from fine food to greasy spoons, for almost a decade, and most people with this experience can tell you when a restaurant honestly does the quality of the image that it evaluates and this place does exactly that. The price point of most dishes are similar to that of most chain restaurants, but here you are certainly not eating microwave Sysco garbage from a 16 year old is the food of great quality and very well executed. Would and will recommend this place to anyone who wants a really great around the culinary experience, no matter what the occasion is.

This place has a large terrace to observe people. We got the beef tar and it was really good. The staff was friendly and the bar made us great drinks.

Really pleasant service and excellent food. Everything tasted amazing, fresh and tasteful. The tartaric acid and coconut margarita are worth trying. The watermelon salad was surprisingly good and refreshing.

Food is always outstanding!!! Shafts are the main reason we head there before a night out and if there’s no room to sit, they have a shaft window you can so you can pop in and enjoy their delicious espresso bevy quickly! Staff has always been remarkably kind, efficient, and keep the restaurant super clean! Love this place so much! Thinkin of the tartar is making me hungry just writing this! :
