Przekaż informację zwrotnąIt was 12 noon Sunday. No one was in the restaurant. We decided to give it a try. AMBIANCE: Good, clean, and open spaceFOOD: My son and boyfriend ordered the mini tacos with steak. They served shredded beef. That was fine, my boyfriend just ate it because he was hungry. My son took a bite and nothing more. I ordered a hard shell taco, it tasted good, when you past the burnt shell. Now the horrible part. I ordered CHILE RELLENO. The presentation was good but the only fresh thing there was the rice. Now I don't know a lot about Mexican food but man, my chile relleno was MICROWAVED! Is that how to cook it? And the beans on the side were CANNED beans. See, I could have probably done all of these in my house using recipes online. I was really disappointed. Canned juices were excellent.SERVICE: the staff were nice, smiled and greeted courteously. PRICE: mini tacos- $2.65 eachhard shell taco- 3.75 eachchile relleno- $13.90 (might be off by few cents)canned juice- $3Our orders summed up to $29. Was it worth it? NO
Dont come here!!! Ordered 4 birria tacos & an order of the enchiladas & two horchatas. The tacos came out cold and they used mozzarella cheese on the enchiladas. Its suppose to be mexican queso(cheese) fresco. Clearly they are trying to cut corners to save money. And the horchatas, which is a drink that is made of rice water and is supposed to be refreshing and goes well with spicy food was ridiculously sweet. When i tried to return them and let them know they were too sweet, i was told that was how they were supposed to be and they refused to either give me other drinks or give me my money back. I spoke to who i imagine is the owner and he told me the same thing. I couldn't believe the horrible horrible service!! Thank you for ruining our evening
This was like walking into a fast food joint in Mexico. Real food not made in a factory. A variety of choices, but no fish or vegetarian options. TV on the wall in Spanish, and many customers ordered in Spanish. I had a super filling burrito with dark meat, and thick cut corn chips - very tasty. Guacamole was a little thin, but tasted good.
If you are looking for very good authentic Mexican food in modest surroundings, try this place. If you are looking for Tex/Mex or some other form of Americanized/Canadianized Mexican food in an upscale place this isn't for you. I eat here often and find it to be excellent every time. I highly recommend it.
