Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

I'm done with this Swiss chalet! for the second time in two months we visited this facility at 14:45 on Mother's Day. our waitress was pleasant enough; and our food arrived within two minutes after the order. we had the impression that we were from the midday crowd left. the fries seemed to have reheated several times and the hawn was dried out. overall the meal was not close to swiss chalet standard. After we waited 15 minutes to get the bill, we were looking for our waitress. Apparently, she went on a break. I also visited the male toilet room and was overwhelmed with the smell of stale urin. overall it was a terrible experience. about the years we had great meals at this place during the lunch or dinner hours. in our experience have other Swiss chalets in calgary (i.e. 130 ave do not have this problem on the afternoon.

The wait at this restaurant was extremely long, I mean really long. I decided to go on a Monday after shopping for dresses for an upcoming special occasion. The restaurant, Platz, only had about 10 tables and two people working - a waitress and what I assume was the manager or owner. After waiting for 45 minutes and asking for our bill, we finally received our meal. When I inquired about the delay, I was assured that our food would be worth the wait. The food was good, no complaints there, but if you're in a hurry for lunch, it's best to go elsewhere. I recommend visiting when you have plenty of time to spare.

Swiss Chalet continues to offer great value for money. We dined there today and the food was tasty and the service was top-notch. Our server, Sara B., was professional, efficient, and provided excellent service. She also had a great knack for tableside presentation. Kudos to Swiss Chalet!

I called from Ontario to have a festive family meal delivered to Okotoks on December 21 for a virtual Christmas dinner. Moe at Swiss Chalet Shawnessy assured me that it could be done and took care of all my requests, including my CAA code. Since Okotoks lost its Swiss Chalet a year ago, I was worried that a 10 km radius for delivery would be a problem. However, we discussed the best time of day to make the 42 km round trip and Moe made it happen. Thank you for your flexibility! Bill.

Ate there this week. Walked in, met us at the door. Hand cleaner was there, everyone was wearing a mask. We were escorted to a booth right away. The Ribs were smoked, they were moist, they fell off the bone, we also had chicken (tasty)...and the fries are the best. Great value, great polite, diligent service. Wish they had Coke products but the water was nice. All n' all a very positive experience...even had a visit from the manager checking to see if we had a great meal. Busy spot and I can see why as the food wasn't dry. We are going here again even though we live in Douglasdale. This Swiss Chalet topped off the plate with plenty of fries as well.
