Sushi Kimu - Calgary

Went to check this place out based on the reviews but was dissapointed. We ordered the shrimp dumplings but it didn't taste like shrimp. And all the speciality rolls were pretty similar.. and pricey. We tried the roll with calamari on top but wasn't too impressed unfortunately. The sashimi was fresh at least and Staff were very friendly and kind but will be looking for a better sushi alternative.

The service at this restaurant is terrible, the food is not fresh. The tuna sashimi was dry and had a bad smell, while the shrimp tempura was mostly dough with very little shrimp and even had hair in it, which was disgusting. When we complained, they didn't seem to care, not even offering an apology, just replacing one shrimp. I would not recommend this place, it's a waste of money.

This restaurant has the best sushi in the area. Despite its small size, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous.

Portions for the lunch menu were generous, but prices were a little higher than expected. Service was very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious.
