Original Joe's - 4th Street - Calgary

I occasionally visit OJ's because I live in Mission and always thought their menu was similar to other bars and pubs. However, recently the lovely manager, Alice, introduced me to their new Summer menu which features some truly unique items. While I enjoy the Mediterranean Salad and the spicy Buffalo chicken wrap, I believe the Sunshine Bowl is one of the best and most unique dishes in the Beltline area. It consists of cous cous, grilled asparagus, avocado, brown rice, grilled cauliflower, and a variety of other colorful ingredients. If you need a reason to visit OJ's, I highly recommend trying the Sunshine Bowl at least once.

A nice and atmospheric pub to go to on Fourth Street; preferably when there is no downpour! I always order the Cheese Toast with my Beers! Careful going to the bathroom in the basement the stairs are steep and not wide for certain folks...

Seating is available inside or out. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. We had a drink and appetizers. Wing we very good with the BBQ sauce, but you have more selections to choose. The lettuce wraps were very good and a healthy portion. The menu...is your standard bar menu.
