Onigiri Japan - Calgary

Had the Chicken Teriyaki Don. And it was pretty big and well balanced. Not too much rice or chicken. Everything felt like it had been together well.

What a out of the way find. It is really off the beaten path but definitely worth a visit. Loved the food I had there but the mushroom is number 1 and crab and mayo was 2nd. Really a hidden gem that's worth multiple visits.

Really great to find a place serving Onigiri Downtown. It is worth going for lunch and taking a few, or the delicious Udon soup. The staff is always so nice and friendly, so the visit is worthwhile

So glad they survived!! The portions are a little bit small if you are a big eater (it's okay to pick up only one onigiri) but so excited to have another onigiri that was near the one found in Japan. The filling was generous in the rice balls and the rice had a wonderful texture. My favorite was the Cajun shrimp as it has hidden pieces of quality shrimp inside! The Poke Bowl ingredients are fresh and the Bento boxes offer a nice selection of sides and Teriyaki sauce is not too sweet, which I appreciated. You can say love and quality have gone into this food.. Now I just wish it wasn't in the whole city from my office!

I was looking for Onigiri and heard about this place, so I had to visit. It hurt my heart to see this beautiful room empty because of the current situation, but it's about food. I was skeptical when I saw the size of Onigiri, but soon came to appreciate that you eat 3 or 4 of them with one side and a drink and a good lunch. The ratio of rice to filling is perfect. The spice is on site and the taste selection is quite good. If you don't like Onigiri, they also have Donburi, Udon and Cup Bowls. The staff is super beautiful and again a clean and beautiful room. If you are in the city centre, please support and visit.
